The Hayes & Stolz Vertical Batch Mixer is an industrial grade unit designed to mix dry, free flowing ingredients. The mixers are available in capacities from 500 to 50,000 pounds.
All ingredients can be loaded through the top, or in the bottom mounted intake chute. The internal vertical auger and tube assembly draws material upwards where it is evenly dispersed to the top by a paddle attachment.
The unit can be discharged through an outlet in the cone, or through an auger tube discharge spout located higher up on the body.
The mixing auger is powered at the top by a side mounted motor and belt drive. A packing gland seal, available with air purge, is mounted on the bottom shaft.
All units are shipped fully assembled and tested.
