HAYES & STOLZ SINGLE SHAFT HORIZONTAL RIBBON MIXERS can achieve a mixing efficiency, measured as
coefficient of variation (Cv) of less than 10,
in
a mix time of two minutes.
Lower Cv’s can be achieved with longer mix times.

HAYES & STOLZ SINGLE SHAFT HORIZONTAL PADDLE MIXERS can achieve a mixing efficiency,
measured as
coefficient of variation (Cv) of less than 10, in
a mix time of as short as three minutes.
Lower Cv’s can be achieved with longer mix times.
Unlike most paddle mixers that have only an outer paddle arrangement, the Hayes & Stolz paddle mixers have outer paddles as well as inner paddles for fast, accurate, end to end mixing of the entire batch.
Hayes & Stolz paddle mixers are designed to handle the most difficult mixing applications from heavy, dense products to mixes requiring the addition of highly viscous liquids.

PADDLE ASSEMBLY FEATURES
● Solid steel main shaft.
● Heavy-duty steel mixing arms keyed to the
main shaft. (Not welded.)
● Hard-faced leading edges on outer paddles.
● Outer paddles are adjustable for maintaining
optimal clearance.
● Heavy inner paddles provide mixing balance
and efficiency.
● Paddles and support arms are bolted design
for quick, easy replacement.

● Adjustable slide track with UHMW surface.

● Curved slide gate arrangement eliminates any interior pockets.
● Bolted, replaceable UHMW on sliding surfaces.
● Adjustable gate support track.
● Pneumatic or electric operated.
● Totally enclosed gate assembly which eliminates dusting.

Drop Bottom Mixer:
● Double door style.
● End plates with knife edge for positive door seal.
